Our Fourth Annual Food Drive for Cimarron

Update November 24, 2015: Way to Go Wildcats!

Our Fourth Annual Food Drive was a huge success. On Friday morning, two SUVs and a minivan were loaded down with all of your donations and driven over to Aurora. The principal at Cimarron was so appreciative! Your generosity will be felt for months to come by many needy families. Thank you so much for your participation, and a huge thank you to the volunteers who organized, collected, loaded and drove. What a giving community!

Cimarron Elementary is a Title One Cherry Creek School located in Aurora. There are approximately 500 students, with 60% of those students receiving free and reduced breakfast and lunch.

The families of these students often need a helping hand with food at home, too. The week of November 16th, we will be collecting non-perishable food items and toiletries to help re-stock Cimarron's pantry shelves. Our goal is to replenish the pantry to feed at least 50 families.

Please send items to school with your child. There will be collection boxes at each grade level. Thanks so much for your generous support.
